Choosing a marriage celebrant can be over-whelming. There are so many celebrants out there today. But they are not all right for you.
How do you know if a celebrant is the right kind of person for you and your partner?
You need to find a celebrant that you connect with and feel really comfortable with. Your celebrant must be able to tune in to who you both are and what you want for your wedding. It’s about getting the right fit, a good match.
It’s really important that you meet your celebrant before choosing them, so you can be sure that they are on your wavelength.
3. One Size Fits All?
Beware of the celebrants who offer a one-size-fits-all approach. Your ceremony should be specially crafted for you, not regurgitated from the last wedding.
4. Shop around
Contact a few celebrants. Interview them! Ask if you could have an obligation free meeting with them to decide if they are right for you. Ask how they would work with you to create a unique wedding ceremony.
Don’t feel any obligation to engage a celebrant if they don’t feel right. This is a very special day and getting the right celebrant will help make it perfect!
